Amidst the busy-ness of this life and the worldly pleasures that tempt us, recall during this time that Jesus, the Son of God, took on flesh, died, and is risen for you. Recall what He has done for you and what it means to “offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call upon the name of the Lord, taking the cup of salvation, and pay my vows to the Lord now in the presence of all His people” (Ps 116).
After reviewing inputs from the congregation survey we have also decided to make a change to our worship schedule beginning the week after Thanksgiving, for December. Rather than have Divine Service Thursday night that is the upcoming Sunday, we will have the Divine Service Monday evening at 6:30pm which will be the same as the Sunday before. So if you need to not attend Sunday, rather than coming Thursday before you may attend Monday evening afterward. We pray this will be valuable service time when you missed Sunday being out of town, working, or other factors so that you may still receive Christ’s gifts.
